01. Overview & Trading Identity
Victorian Shadows is a trading name of Colceriu Ana-Maria-Stefana, operating legally as a Romanian P.F.A. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Victorian Shadows and its legal operator. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
02. International Shipping & Duties
Orders are dispatched from our studio in Romania. All international shipments are conducted under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms. The recipient is the Importer of Record and is responsible for all import duties, local taxes, and customs clearance fees. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and must be settled prior to delivery.
03. Return Policy (EU vs. International)
In accordance with EU Consumer Rights, customers within the EU have 14 days from delivery to request a return for a refund. Items must be in original, unworn condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
For all non-EU international orders (including the US and UK), given the curated and vintage nature of our collection, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind outside the EU.
04. Damaged Goods
In the event that a relic arrives damaged, notice must be provided within 48 hours of recorded delivery. Please include comprehensive photographic evidence of the external packaging and the damaged item to initiate a claim. Claims made after this window will not be accepted.
05. Material Disclosure & Disclaimers
Unless specifically stated as '925 Sterling Silver' or 'Natural Gemstone,' all items are curated as high-quality costume pieces. Terms such as 'Onyx', 'Silver', or 'Ruby' within product titles refer to the aesthetic finish and color palette, not geological composition. As these pieces are curated, we cannot guarantee the absence of trace elements like nickel or lead. Victorian Shadows is not liable for allergic reactions resulting from contact with these materials.
06. Payment Security
All transactions are processed through Stripe’s secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway. Victorian Shadows does not store or have access to your full credit card information. By proceeding, you authorize the charge for the total amount displayed at checkout.
07. Accuracy of Billing & Orders
We reserve the right to refuse any order. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order. In the event of a pricing error or stock discrepancy, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
08. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
Victorian Shadows and its technical infrastructure providers (the developers) shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct/indirect damages arising from your use of the service or products. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim made by any third-party due to your breach of these Terms. The technical platform is provided "as is" without warranties.
09. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania.
10. Technical Provider Disclosure
The technical infrastructure provider acts only as a builder. All business policies, including returns, shipping, and data handling, are dictated by the Site Owner. By operating this site, the Owner accepts these terms as their own.
11. Intellectual Property
All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, digital downloads, and code, is the property of Colceriu Ana-Maria-Stefana or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Victorian Shadows. Any unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or exploitation of the material on this website is strictly prohibited without express written consent.
